Enable USB Debugging First

Prerequisite for ADB Reboot & Commands
Initial Setup

Before your computer can communicate with the phone or send the automatic recovery reboot command, USB Debugging must be active:

Open Settings > About Phone.

Find Build Number (or MIUI / Software version) and tap it 7 times rapidly until unlocked.

Go to System > Developer Options and toggle USB Debugging to ON.
Cable Check: Use a high-quality USB Data Cable to connect your phone to the PC now. When prompted on the phone, tap "Always Allow".

Factory Reset the Device

Clean slate for Device Owner mode
Required

To lock down the phone completely as a dedicated commercial kiosk, Android requires a fresh factory state without any personal accounts or lockscreen credentials.

● Option A (Automatic): With USB Debugging enabled, click below to boot directly into Android Recovery Mode.
● Option B (Manual): Open Settings > System > Reset options > Erase all data (factory reset).

Setup Wizard: Skip All Accounts

Do not register accounts

When the phone restarts and reaches the Android Welcome setup screen, follow these strict rules to allow Device Owner lockdown:

✔ CONNECT WI-FI: Connect to your local Wi-Fi or mobile hotspot.
✖ SKIP GOOGLE SIGN-IN: Tap "Skip" or "Don't Copy". Do not sign in!
✖ SKIP OEM ACCOUNT: Skip Samsung, Xiaomi, or manufacturer cloud accounts.
✖ NO LOCK SCREEN: Skip setting any PIN, password, pattern, or fingerprint.
Why? Android strictly forbids provisioning a Device Owner kiosk if user accounts are already registered.

Re-enable USB Debugging

Enable on the freshly reset device
Bridge Access

Since factory reset restores default settings, re-enable developer mode on the clean home screen:

Open Settings > About Phone.

Tap Build Number 7 times rapidly until Developer Mode is unlocked.

Go to System > Developer Options, and toggle USB Debugging to ON.
Keep phone connected via USB Data Cable. When prompted on the phone, tap "Always Allow".
